Rare Books & Ancestral Machines is open late on December 4 at the Posner Center. From Copernicus to the Enigma Machine, explore five centuries of scientific inquiry, cryptography, robotics, and AI through rare books and artifacts — many on display for the first time. Come see the inaugural exhibition of the renovated Posner Center for Special Collections at Carnegie Mellon.

Discover the mesmerizing art of paper marbling in this hands-on workshop. Experiment with colors, patterns, and traditional techniques to create beautifully marbled paper—perfect for bindings, stationery, decorative projects, and even holiday gift wrapping. Note that cleanup will begin at 5:30 PM for a hard stop at 6:00 PM.
